Listening the Senna movie soundtrack right now. This music + watching these screens gives me some lovable feeling. I know that Senna has nothing to do with that era, BUT let's not forget about movie's message about real racing without any politics, any money involved and so on... I reckon that was such an era. Call me what you like, but I love classic cars over nowadays 'toys'.

Screens portraits absolutely stunning looking cars. You guys already did a fantastic job, and I thank you.

Hi hex,

Believe it or not,it's good to see you here. we share a common feeling: both of us really like Senna.
as much we two have our differences and fights in the past,i hope you will put all that beside and let the forum go without dicussions. i admit that i was wrong in that first discussion at F1 classic, too much gimme gimme from me.now i understand more the world of modders. Smile

Hi, Diego.

I forgot about our little incident long time ago, mate. We're all good. Quoting Ayrton: "I don't have any enemies - life is too short for that".

Already did, but there will be discussions - just not fighting anymore. Smile

I read at rFC you're helping guys out with that mod - keep it up! I'm proud of you Wink

Now I have even more respect for his deeds. The whole team are heroes for me - doing something different than another F1 mod for 2011 season.

Hi guys,

Thanks, but this 37 mod will see daylight only with a TEAM effort.
I may do the 3D stuff but all the beta testing, research, info gathering, physics
is done by a TEAM. And I must say we are a great team.

Thanks guys. cheers cheers cheers

Hi guys,
Just want to tell you that we have 4 cars in game.
The Maserati is being worked on by AHTOAH.

The physics for the Auto Union and the ERA is 95% done.
We are now working on the Mercedes physics.

And Wolferl is doing the sounds. He just delivered the sound for the AUnion and it gave me goose bumps. cyclops
So again everything is on schedule. Don't worry we do not plan on releasing it next year.
It's this year and before the summer.

Yeah, Good old Spirit of Speed...... AHhhhh

It would of been a great game if it had decent tyre phisics though.
I can still remember the scratchy old menu music lol ... I reinstalled it once again for a trip down memory lane, but it doesn't like my graphics cards much, or my controller... Crying or Very sad

No reason why this mod and rFactor won't be hanging around a few peoples PC's for a decade or so too.....

(EDIT)

I do a bit of modding myself and am working on some tires at the moment, I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of equipping a 55F1 Mercedes W196 with them and posted a video to demonstrate....

[img][/img]

To me this feels very realistic, it slides around the way cars did in old footage from that time and is still quite drive-able (and fun) like I said.. hope you don't mind Embarassed

Hi guys,

Wanted to tell you guys that AHTOAH as just sent me the mesh of the Maserati. cheers

I will be starting the conversion of the mesh into rFactor, in a few days.
Will keep you updated on the progress.

This is the 5th car of the mod. 5th and last.
Since the car is already made, but only need to do the shaders and conversion, it should be done
faster.

So this is great news, Smile
